That old chap, Milton Erickson, king of the conversational hypnotists, used to say something about trusting his “unconscious” when doing all sorts of different amazing hypnotic techniques. It seems to be the secret of great musicians, comedians, writers or anybody who is really good at what they do. They override the conscious thinking mind and let their “unconscious” sort things out.
